MONSSA is a research unit based at the University of Cape Town focused on digital transformation in Sub-Saharan Africa, its effects on and possibilities for economies and societies.

MONSSA's activities include multidisciplinary research and organising courses, workshops and conferences. 

MONSSA gathers academic professionals from around the world and works closely with local institutions to generate, and share knowledge that can support more effective policies for digital transformation in Sub-Saharan Africa.
